IPA Higher Education Symposium for early-career scholars at the International Russian Higher Education Conference
IPA Symposium goals and design
Innovative Proceedings & Analytics (IPA) Symposium in higher education is an annual event held as part of the International Russian Higher Education Conference (RHEC). Two sessions of three presentations each bring together early-career scholars and accomplished researchers to discuss prospective papers in the field of higher education. Each presenter receives comprehensive feedback on their research project from a discussant. The essential condition for participation is having the draft of fully paper submitted by the established deadline.
Participants: MA and PhD students and early-career researchers with 1 — 5 years of experience after completion of PhD.

Full Paper Submission
Participants at the IPA Symposium will be shortlisted on the basis of full papers (papers with co-authors are acceptable).

Applicants are invited to submit a full paper of 30,000–50,000 characters (approximately 3,000–5,000 words) in English.

A sample paper structure may include: Purpose of the paper, Design/methodology, Findings, Research limitations, Social and Practical implications, Significance of paper, 1-4 keywords, References.

Notification of acceptance:
July 15, 2019

Participation at RHEC
Proposals that have not been accepted for the IPA Symposium can be resubmitted for the International Russian Higher Education Conference by making an inquiry to the RHEC Program committee via e-mail - rhec@hse.ru.
Evaluation process
Applications are evaluated by a panel of reviewers based on the above-stated criteria
Peer reviewers are in charge of assessing and scoring the proposals.
A maximum of three highly-ranked proposals are supported by the mobility and accommodation grant for the conference days
